2025 CCCSAA Student Leadership Scholarship

The CCCSAA Student Leadership Scholarships are awarded to currently enrolled Community College students involved in campus leadership. Applicants must be from a California Community College with an advisor who is a current member of CCCSAA.

Award
Ten (10) scholarships at $500.00 each will be awarded

Eligibility

  • Up to ten (10) scholarships may be granted annually. Applicants may be nominated by current Active Members of the Association only.
  • No more than one (1) applicant may be nominated by each Active Member. No more than three (3) applicants may be nominated within a given member CCC. If and only if a member institution has a single Active Member, that member may nominate a second applicant. 
  • All awards are in the amount of $500.
  • All applicants must be students currently enrolled within the CCC system, must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit units at the nominating Active Member's institution, and must have a current cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher.

Selection Process Notification
The Past President serves as chair of the Scholarship Selection Committee. The selection committee is composed of at least four individuals. No Reviewer shall review applicants from their own institution. In case of ties or conflict of interest, the President-elect may conduct a final review of all applications.

Deadline
Applications must be submitted BEFORE the deadline of Sunday, April 6, 2025, by 11:59 pm PST.

Please note: Scholarship nominations MUST be submitted by a current CCCSAA member. Students wishing to apply for this scholarship must contact their advisor for eligibility.
